From Vulnerability to Strength — Medically Guided Movement for Lifelong Bone Health
Medically Guided Exercise Classes for Osteoporosis & Bone Health — London
Specialist exercise sessions designed for individuals with osteoporosis, osteopenia, and fracture risk — delivered within a consultant-led clinical pathway to support bone strength, posture, balance, and long-term independence.
Exercise is one of the most evidence-supported interventions for improving bone mineral density and reducing falls risk. At the London Osteoporosis Clinic, our classes are not generic fitness sessions — they are part of the BoneRevive® clinical pathway, adapted to your DXA findings, fracture risk, and individual functional profile. Patients on our programme achieve an average 8–12% annual improvement in bone density under consultant supervision.
Unlike standard exercise classes, these sessions are integrated within a consultant-led osteoporosis management programme. Exercises are adapted for bone density, vertebral health, posture, and fracture risk, ensuring that movement remains safe, targeted, and clinically appropriate at every stage.

Class Types Within Your Clinical Bone Pathway™
Strength & Resistance Training
Therapeutic Bone Loading
Fridays | 9:00am | 30 minutes
Progressive resistance and weight-bearing exercises are among the most evidence-supported interventions for stimulating bone formation and reducing fracture risk. These sessions use safe, controlled loading to stress the skeleton in a way that triggers new bone tissue formation — targeting the hip, spine, and wrist, the sites most vulnerable to fragility fracture. Sessions are adapted individually to your DXA profile and functional capacity.
Clinical Pilates
Spinal Stability & Posture
Wednesdays | 6:00pm | 30 minutes
For individuals with vertebral fragility, height loss, or kyphotic posture, controlled spinal loading and core conditioning are essential. Our Clinical Pilates sessions focus on deep spinal stabilisers, postural alignment, and safe movement patterns — reducing the risk of vertebral compression fractures caused by uncontrolled flexion. Particularly recommended for patients with existing vertebral involvement on DXA or imaging.
Therapeutic Yoga
Balance, Mobility & Confidence in Movement
Saturdays | 10:00am | 30 minutes
Falls are the proximate cause of most fragility fractures. Improving proprioception, balance, and body confidence is therefore a direct fracture-prevention intervention. Our Therapeutic Yoga sessions are clinically adapted for individuals with reduced bone density — avoiding high-risk flexion movements and focusing on balance, controlled weight-shifting, and mindful body awareness. Particularly beneficial for patients experiencing fear of falling.

Our Clinical Approach to Exercise
Exercise at the London Osteoporosis Clinic is integrated within a wider framework of assessment, monitoring, and personalised guidance.
Rather than short-term fitness goals, the focus is on improving bone strength safely, supporting measurable DXA outcomes, enhancing posture and musculoskeletal stability, reducing falls and fracture risk, and promoting long-term self-sufficiency in bone health.
This reflects our holistic approach of combining medical insight, therapeutic exercise, nutrition, and longitudinal monitoring over 12–24 months.
Attending Online
All BoneRevive® Programme classes are conducted exclusively via secure online livestream. Participants access the clinically guided sessions in real time, maintaining the ability to interact with the instructor throughout. Session recordings are available for 48 hours after each class for members who cannot attend live.
How to Access Classes
Our exercise classes are integrated within the BoneRevive® clinical pathway and are available to all programme members. This ensures that every participant’s exercise plan is aligned with their clinical assessment, DXA profile, and individual fracture risk.
- Already enrolled in BoneRevive®? Classes are included in your membership. Log in to the Bone Health Buddy App or contact us to confirm your class schedule.
- New to the clinic? Begin with a Consultant Assessment. Your consultant will determine whether classes are appropriate for your clinical profile and at what level.
